The RAW Women’s Division

Highlights of the Division

The featured match of the division this week was between Sasha Banks and the No. 1 Contender for the RAW Women’s Championship: Alexia Bliss. The match had some action but it was disappointing to see Bliss walk out of the match and eat a count-out loss. She did make up for it by blindsiding the champ from behind on the entrance ramp, which will definitely build up some intrigue for their title match at Payback.

WWE might be throwing a misdirection on how they are booking Alexia Bliss because she might lose to Bayley this coming Sunday. Bliss hasn’t been the most consistent performer in any Women’s division and the fact that the WWE is teasing the fans that she might win it— is a massive red hearing.

Sasha Banks might have gotten a hollow victory over the No. 1 Contender but she’ll need to position herself to challenge the winner of this Sunday’s championship match. A match between her and Nia Jax could answer the question of who is deserving of challenging the champion after Payback.

In the pretender’s section of the division—Dana Brooke defeated Alicia Fox in singles competition. The on-going drama between Dana and her former friend Emma should lead up to a match between the two competitors. Emma should be favored to defeat her former protege and climb up the rankings of the division.

These are the rankings for the division this week.
