2. The Roaches Will Make Another Appearance

Remember the roaches projected on the mat at WrestleMania? Expect to see real-life versions of those at Payback.

First of all, I think this is kind of lazy. They have no connection to Wyatt’s character, other than WrestleMania. It’s something that WWE is forcing because it fits with the current narrative.

However, it could really work in the environment of this match. Roaches are a fairly common fear for people. Some people will really be able to buy into the horror aspect once the roaches come out.

Even the people who don’t have that fear are still going to be made uncomfortable by whatever WWE, Wyatt and Orton decide to do with them.

So, yeah, the roaches are forced, but for once, I actually believe that WWE is going to force a narrative and make it work. Wyatt is running out of strikes against him and he needs this match to be a success.

The roaches would be an excellent addition to this match, but the pressure is mounting on Wyatt. They’re not gonna be enough to help him. They just need to be that extra added layer that helps put him over the top.
