Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe

Those who’ve seen WWE NXT won’t find Finn Balor vs. Samoa Joe to be anything new. They went head-to-head for six months, battling for the NXT Championship, until the Joe finally claimed it with two successful wins.

Balor had his main roster run stopped when he was injured in August, thwarting a Universal Championship reign that had began one day earlier. He has since returned, but with not too much fanfare on Raw. By SummerSlam, this will potentially be different.

Balor vs. Joe is a somewhat safe option for WWE to go to. They know what these two can do together, but only a small portion of fans saw this in NXT. It would be new to those who only watch main roster shows, which is a number that likely far exceeds the amount of WWE fans. Can these two replicate their success together?
