SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship Match
The Usos (c) vs Breezdango
Just one week ago, Breezdango won a Beat the Clock challenge over American Alpha, The Colons and The Ascension. By doing that they became the No. 1 Contenders to the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championships, currently held by The Usos.
Obviously, it was somewhat of a surprise when Breezdango became the No. 1 Contenders, especially when The Colons appeared to be in the middle of a push. However, they are two of the more underrated talents, when it comes to their in-ring work.
When Seth Rollins injured his knee, Tyler Breeze was in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Tournament, and after a first round exit, he got lost in the shuffle fast. Fandango beat Chris Jericho in his debut at WrestleMania 29, and with multiple repackagings, he still hasn’t found his footing.
While SmackDown Live is the land of opportunity this match should be another successful title defense for the Usos. The Usos have been rejuvenated ever since they turned heel and it’s far too early to stop this momentum they’ve built.
