3. Finn Bálor

A Finn Bálor vs. Brock Lesnar match for the WWE Universal Championship would be a true David vs. Goliath scenario, and there’s no reason why it shouldn’t happen.

Bálor was the inaugural Universal Champion after he defeated Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. With Finn as the new face of RAW, it looked as though WWE was completing the transition to the New Era with a strong push for the former bullet club member.

However, the Demon King was injured during the match and had to forfeit his title the following night. That being said, Bálor never lost the WWE Universal Championship, so he has valid cause for a match against the current WWE Universal Champion who just so happens to be Lesnar.

This matchup should be in the works soon as Bálor has already proven himself as a main eventer on the roster, and Bálor recently claimed that he wants to win his title back.

The only problem is that Bálor is now clearly involved in a feud with Bray Wyatt after the New Face of Fear sabotaged Finn’s match on the last RAW.

The good news is that feud should finish up at Extreme Rules, which would leave Bálor without an opponent or direction heading into Great Balls of Fire. So, he could potentially continue his quest for the belt he never lost and challenge Lesnar.

The odds are that Bálor will just be another conquest for Lesnar as he marches towards WrestleMania with the belt, but there’s always a chance that Bálor could upset Brock with a win.

Bálor is one of the few pure babyfaces in the company with the support of almost everyone, so WWE may just let Bálor have his moment with an incredible win over Lesnar.

Whether Finn wins the belt or not, The Demon King vs. The Beast Incarnate is a spectacle in the making that needs to happen, and it could happen at WWE Great Balls of Fire.
