The first look at the WWE UK Championship studio can be seen below.

For a while, WWE has teased on TV that we’ll be getting a weekly WWE UK Championship show on the WWE Network. It’s the aftermath of the UK Tournament the company held in January, which produced the first-ever WWE UK Champion, Tyler Bate. He defeated Pete Dunne in the finals of the two-day competition.

Well, we’re finally getting the taping for the UK show this weekend, as WWE’s tour of Europe continues. There will be recordings on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7.

The venue being used — Epic Studios — posted a first look at the ring and studio for the taping on Instagram. It’s difficult to tell how much space there is in the crowd sections, but the low ceiling gives this a more closed-in look.

Photos can also be seen from Triple H’s Twitter account:

This setting feels like something used for PROGRESS or WCPW, who use smaller venues like this. We can’t tell how big this studio is WWE’s using, but it seems compact.

The WWE UK taping is expected to see some of the top talents from the UK Championship Tournament, like Bate, Dunne, Mark Andrews and Trent Seven. Cruiserweights are also advertised for the taping, like former WWE Cruiserweight Champions, Brian Kendrick, TJP and Rich Swann.

The expansion of WWE is about to continue, which should be something worth watching as the spring season goes on. We’ll see when these shows air on the WWE Network, and proceed with evaluating how well the company will air a weekly show that’s located outside the United States.
