Only One Can Rule the Darkness

During the main event of the last episode, three of the top men on Raw competed for a right to face Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship. Despite the odds stacked against him, The Miz was able to secure the win. However, his win didn’t come without controversy.

In fact, it can be argued that Finn Balor was just moments away from leaving the arena victorious. Unfortunately for him, he’d drawn the attention of Bray Wyatt. The Eater of Worlds came from out of the blue, but the impact he made was paramount. One Sister Abigail was all it took to leave the Demon King down and out, and on that night, Wyatt stood tall.

Now that a whole week has gone by, it’s a safe bet to assume that Balor is ready to seek his revenge. No stranger to mind games himself, the Demon King has intimidated many superstars when he delves into the deeper part of his character. His new rival will come to experience this in due time, but don’t expect him to strike just yet.

Tonight, Balor will likely watch in the distance as Wyatt takes center stage to promote his recent attack. As he’s done in the past, Wyatt will talk of how impending destruction and a world forsaken to darkness will come about. Only this time, the words he utters will hold true. Should his rival choose to appear, he will do so under his moniker as the Demon King. Whenever that happens, whether it be tonight or several weeks from now, a big-time moment will be etched in history.
