DIY vs. Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss

Result: DIY def. Sabbatelli and Moss via Pinfall

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

DIY came out to the ring to say that they deserved the one on one rematch with The Authors of Pain that they never got. They claimed that the line started behind them, not Heavy Machinery.

Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss then interrupted saying that they were better than “those fatties” and that the line should start behind them. That led to a match between DIY and Sabbatelli and Moss.

Sabbatelli and Moss dominated early with frequent pins and control over Ciampa. They showed a cocky attitude and even paused their beatdown to do a handshake.

Ciampa finally reached Gargano for the hot tag, and the momentum shifted in DIY’s favor. Both members of DIY had exciting dives outside the ring, and they eventually connected with their Meeting in the Middle finishing move.

Moss ended up eating the pin from Ciampa, but Moss and Sabbatelli surprisingly looked strong in the short bout.

After the match, Regal came out to announce DIY vs. Authors of Pain at NXT TakeOver: Chicago. Ellering came out and interrupted to say that DIY’s blood will be on Regal’s hand if he makes that match. Regal then continues to announce that the match that will take place will be a ladder match.

Surprisingly, Heavy Machinery never made an appearance on this episode despite their name being kept in the conversation. It looks like they will have to wait until after TakeOver for their push.

Kassius Ohno Interview

Kassius Ohno starts off the interview saying that he’s disappointed that he has not captured the NXT Championship yet, but he says he will get back up and continue working on his goal.

Andrade Almas interrupts Ohno to ask him why he ever bothered coming back. Ohno responds by saying how Almas doesn’t live up to his potential because he’s too focused on partying all the time. Both men agree to a match next week.
