2. Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre returned to the WWE Universe at NXT TakeOver Orlando. He was once called “the Chosen One” by Vince McMahon himself and to his credit — he is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion and former WWE Tag Team Champion. Upon leaving the WWE, McIntyre reinvented himself as Drew Galloway, capturing multiple titles in TNA and across the independents.

McIntyre could be a formidable foe for Adam Cole. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound Scottish superstar would tower over Cole. This would give the program a similar dynamic to the aforementioned feud with Kassius Ohno. However, unlike Adam Cole vs Kassius Ohno, the wrestling world has yet to see Cole and McIntyre cross paths on a big stage.

Not only would a feud between a former ROH World Heavyweight Champion and a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion capture the imagination of the WWE Universe (especially in Full Sail) but McIntyre could help Cole assimilate to WWE’s in-ring style.
