Breezango vs The Colons

Result: Breezango wins via pinfall

Rating: 3.25 out of 5 stars

Before our next match took place, there were a number of backstage promos and interviews which took place. First and foremost, another vignette hyping the upcoming arrival of Lana to SmackDown Live was shown. It’s hard to determine whether or not she’s a face or a heel yet, but we’ll likely get that answer soon.

Another episode of “The Fashion Files” took place, and it involved Fandango and Tyler Breeze making fun of the current fashion trend on the Blue Brand. They then turned their attention to Sunday, declaring that they’ll win the tag team titles.

Finally, Randy Orton was interviewed by Renee Young. When asked about how the audience views Jinder Mahal, he calls his Backlash opponent an ass before leaving the scene.

Now the review of tonight’s tag team contest. In a rather short exchange, the number one contenders to the SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship stood victorious. The match ended when Fandango was able to hit the Falcon Arrow for the pinfall. It was a great way to showcase their talents ahead of Sunday, and the two are obviously athletic performers.

As they celebrated their victory, Breezango was interrupted by the Usos. Stating that they perform every day for the gold around their waste, they welcome their challengers to the “Uso Penitentiary”. There, the Usos make all the rules, and they believe it’s time for Breezango to go on trial. Offering one final warning to their competition, the duo leaves the arena to end the segment.

Backstage, Charlotte Flair joins Becky Lynch and Naomi as they head to the ring for their contract signing for Backlash.
