Carmella vs Naomi

Result: Carmella wins via pinfall

Rating: 3.75 out of 5 stars

With the other women from the previous segment at ringside, Carmella and Naomi competed in singles action. During the early portion of the contest, Naomi was able to control the match through the use of strikes and tackles. Carmella was able to get back into the fight a few moments later, and she used a brief reprieve to recover. James Ellsworth tried to offer an assist, however, he was caught and got ejected from ringside.

A commercial break interrupted the proceedings, but when we returned Naomi graces the audience with a dance. Her gloating didn’t last long though, as Carmella was able to catch the champion off-guard with a superkick. The pace of the match slowed from here, with the heel trying to wear Naomi down. The champion was able to recover though, managing to launch a successful comeback attempt. When Carmella’s teammates tried to interfere, they too were told to leave the area.

Towards the closing moments, everything turned into chaos as all six women began to brawl. Distracted by the proceedings, Naomi was able to eliminate Tamina from the equation, but was unable to spot Carmella behind her. The Princess of Staten Island was able to roll-up the champion, earning a huge win on SmackDown Live.

Shifting to the backstage area, Dolph Ziggler is interviewed about Shinsuke Nakamura. Unwilling to understood the hype surrounding him, he claims that the King of Strong Style has done nothing in WWE. On the other hand, the Showoff has, and he shows a comprehensive video package to prove it. Changing the subject to Backlash, he declares that he’s eager to end Nakamura’s run before it even begins.
