The RAW Women’s Division

Highlights of the Division

So the Women’s Title match at Extreme Rules will be a Kendo Stick on a Pole match. It’s somewhat of a ridiculous stipulation to have for competitors in the caliber of Alexa Bliss and Bayley. Alexa has been booked really well since gaining the gold a few weeks back and should be considered the favourite in this upcoming title fight.

Bayley as it looks will wrap up her position in hunting for the title to becoming a regular challenger after Extreme Rules. It’s tough to imagine Bliss dropping the title this soon shortly after winning it. As for Bayley, she’s had a decent title run since February and it’ll be interesting to see how she adjusts after Extreme Rules concludes.

Alicia Fox scored a huge upset over Sasha Banks on RAW which evened their series. It’s refreshing to see competitors like Alicia compete and beat a former champion like Sasha but it’s much needed for the growth of the division. If they have a rubber match to settle the score once and for all I’d be totally down for it.

Nia Jax defeated Dana Brooke on WWE Main Event to rack up her win score to 10 for the year. Her relationship with Alexa Bliss will be key to see on how much TV time she’ll be receiving and if she gets a crack on the winner of the Extreme Rules title match.

These are the rankings for the division this week.
