A high stakes Impact Wrestling puts the X-Division back in the main event.

Tonight’s Impact Wrestling was promoted as one of the biggest shows of the year.  The show started with the first round of the Global Force Wrestling Tag Team Tournament.  Laredo Kid and Garza Jr. did battle with Impact Tag Team Champions, LAX.  It was a battle of tag team specialization but LAX still has the numbers game.  Could it be time for LAX to claim all the tag team championships in Impact Wrestling?

Kongo Kong has started a war with Braxton Sutter which culminated in a match tonight.  Sutter made the challenge last week but Kong has made easy work out of all of his opponents.  Within the group involving Kongo Kong is the GFW Women’s Champion Sienna.  She was put into a match with ODB who had recently challenged for the Knockout’s Championship.  Could ODB make Sienna’s run a short one?

Ethan Carter III delivered 30 lashes to the back of James Storm in a devastating attack last week.  The two have been put in a match to settle their differences.  Tonight’s match didn’t settle differences but possibly ignited the rivalry with even more additions.

The main event was for the X-Division Championship in an Impact Original match.  Low Ki defended his championship in a three-way bout with the championship hanging above the ring.  It was Ultimate X which all competitors have experience in but only one can win.  Low Ki won the title in a five-way match and looks to defy the odds again in the main event of Impact Wrestling.
