AJ Styles would win that match by pinning Sami Zayn. The following week Zayn lost a Six-Pack Challenge Match to determine the next contender to the WWE Championship. On the Apr. 24 episode of Talking Smack, Zayn talked about losing that match and brought up Corbin. This led to Corbin ambushing Zayn on the set to close the show.

This could very well serve as Corbin’s coming out party. Since debuting at WrestleMania 32 Baron Corbin has made strides each and every week and is on the cusp of being a true contender in the WWE Championship picture. It can be argued that Sami Zayn is more in need of the win than Corbin but I can’t see that happening with the way he’s booked. I doubt this is the last time we see these two in the same ring, especially with Money in the Bank coming up and them being among the top stars on SmackDown Live.
