Luke Harper vs. Erick Rowan

Its hard to believe that just a few months ago these two monsters were considered brothers. Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were both key members of The Wyatt Family, with the two being at Bray Wyatt’s side for years.

However, Luke Harper and Wyatt’s relationship began to become strained when Randy Orton joined the family. The hatred and animosity that Harper had with Orton, along with the jealousy he had based on how Wyatt treated Orton better than him, caused the former Intercontinental Champion to finally break out of The Wyatt Family.

Harper would focus his attention on taking down his former Messiah in Wyatt until Wyatt got drafted to RAW in the superstar shakeup. With Wyatt gone, a returning Rowan looked to get revenge for Wyatt.

Rowan who had been sidelined for months with an injury returned and set his sights on taking out his former brother.  In what is being viewed as an upset victory Rowan beat Harper last week on Smackdown Live.

Harper has all the tools to be a major player on Smackdown Live but first he must rid himself of past ghosts from his Wyatt Family past. He could do this by earning a win at Backlash on Sunday.
