NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III Match Card Predictions After Chicago

With the great NXT TakeOver: Chicago show over, let’s look forward to NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III.

On Saturday night, NXT TakeOver: Chicago would take place. This saw five matches go down, including a surprising moment or two, to leave the Allstate Arena buzzing.

This event also gave us some answers but also left us with a few questions. The wins of dominant champions Asuka and the Authors of Pain leaves us wondering where they go from here. To go along with that, Bobby Roode has a new crop of possible challengers after tonight so seeing who he will get matched up with is will be interesting.

Then, there’s Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne stealing the show and perhaps earned UK Superstars a spot on TakeOver events from here on out, and Tommaso Ciampa turned on Johnny Gargano after a brutal Ladder Match loss against AOP. It’s definitely safe to say we’ve seen the last of #DIY for the foreseeable future.

With Chicago now in the rear view mirror it time to take a look forward to the NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III event. NXT will take over the Barclay’s Center for the third straight year the day before SummerSlam. The event is scheduled to take place Saturday, Aug. 19. With Brooklyn being just under three months away NXT will have plenty of time to properly build towards the event. Surely, we will start seeing signs of what is to come as early as this Wednesday but for now, let’s look at how this show may play out.
