The Authors of Pain (c) vs TM-61
With the disbandment of DIY there really isn’t a clear path going forward for AOP. New tag teams like Heavy Machinery and the team of Tino Sabatelli and Riddick Moss are still a few steps away from being taken seriously as title contenders. That being said, predicting TM-61 in this match may be a bit of a stretch.

TM-61 member Shane Thorne suffered a knee injury in January and was supposed to be out 7-9 months. A return in August would be less than a six-month turnaround so while this would probably be the best match to have, we may have to wait until NXT TakeOver: Houston for it. These two teams met in the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic at NXT TakeOver: Toronto in what was, at the time, the best match from The Authors of Pain. The contrast in styles between the two times mixed together made for a pleasant surprise and I’m looking forward to the next time they square off in the ring.
