Raw Women’s Championship Match
Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Bayley vs. Sasha Banks

Bayley could have been set for a lengthy Raw Women’s Championship reign, but WWE pulled the belt off her at Payback. This allowed Alexa Bliss to win, becoming the first woman to hold the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships. She has three total reigns through just 10 months on WWE’s main roster.

Bayley will likely be hovering around the title scene for a while, especially with Charlotte Flair on SmackDown Live. It wouldn’t be surprising to see her at least pop up in it at SummerSlam, being involved in a multi-woman match.

Sasha Banks’ placement in this bout seems ideal, if WWE ever decides to continue her story with the Hugster. They teased tension between the two for weeks before WrestleMania 33 — even with the Boss assisting Bayley’s title win, something that never came off well, and looks even worse with WWE not turning Banks heel.

By SummerSlam, maybe we’ll see Banks in a villainous role. That could move her back to the top of the Raw Women’s Division, along with gaining a spot in the title match in August.

A Triple Threat Match has the chance to be entertaining, getting the top three women involved and putting on a WrestleMania-quality matchup. Will WWE trend down this route?
