2. Finn Balor Becomes No. Contender

Before I tell you why Finn Balor should be the next in line for Brock Lesnar and the Universal Championship, let me start by saying why his 4 opponents in the Fatal 5-Way Extreme Rules match on June 4th should not be.  First off, Bray Wyatt.  Bray just a seems a little off right now.  Since his move to RAW things just haven’t clicked for “The Eater of Worlds” and considering he just a brief title run on Smackdown Live, he’s not going to win.  Seth Rollins and Samoa Joe have unfinished business that needs to be resolved and I believe will happen at the next PPV.  So they’re out.  And Roman Reigns?  No.  Please, no.  Roman needs to stay on his break from the world title scene until the WWE finds a way for him to make a 100% heel turn.

That leaves Finn.  Balor is unquestionably the top baby face on RAW by a mile and his connection with the fans is astounding.  He’s the perfect guy right now for Lesnar, the guy who just destroyed every male wrestling fan, ages 30-40’s man-crush in Bill Goldberg.  Finn may not have the size to hang with “The Beast Incarnate” but he sure has the desire and skills necessary for such a task.

One x-factor for Balor.  The Club.  Gallows and Anderson have a storied history with “The Demon King” from their days in New Japan Pro Wrestling as part of the Bullet Club stable.  It would be in Finn’s best interest to employ the duo to have his back in any and all dealings with Lesnar.  Now a baby face bringing in some help to fight a heel isn’t the norm but this isn’t the normal heel.  Lesnar is one of the most dominating forces in WWE history and he normally tries to victimize his opponents in the weeks leading up to their showdown.  This might all come together at Extreme Rules because…
