The Demon King Emerges Victorious

Ahead of the fatal-five-way match at Extreme Rules, WWE has decided to provide a jam-packed episode of Monday Night Raw. One of the heavily promoted matches has three of the five competitors participating in a single match. Those superstars are Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor, and Samoa Joe.

In regards to how this match came to fruition, it all started a few weeks ago with Bray Wyatt. During his match against Seth Rollins, the Eater of Worlds was taken by surprise when Joe arrived on the scene. The Samoan Destroyer was eager to hurt Rollins, and so the two heels joined forces for a brief moment. Then, in a surprise twist, Wyatt attacked Joe from behind and dropped him with Sister Abigail.

Since that attack, Joe has been chomping at the bit for a chance at revenge. As for Balor’s involvement, he was inserted due to the fact he’s facing both of these men at Extreme Rules. Their triple threat match is going to be hard-hitting and intense, a result of the drive all three men possess. Out of all the superstars involved, it’s most likely going to be Balor standing tall. Wyatt had his moment when he attacked Joe, and the Samoan Destroyer has looked strong in the meantime.

Because of the strong support the Demon King received from Paul Heyman, Balor could be the new favorite to win on Sunday. If so, a match against Universal Champion Brock Lesnar is heavily enticing. This story will receive much clearer direction by the conclusion of Extreme Rules.
