What Time Does WWE Extreme Rules 2017 Start?
What time should viewers tune in to check out the Raw-exclusive PPV, WWE Extreme Rules?
On Sunday night, WWE’s Raw brand will come together for a critical PPV, WWE Extreme Rules 2017. It will be the ninth straight year that WWE puts on an Extreme Rules PPV, but this is the first time it will be exclusive to one brand.
The Extreme Rules Match is a staple of the PPV, and it is traditionally used in a one-on-one title match. However, this year, the stipulation will be used in a Fatal 5-Way Match to determine the No. 1 Contender for Brock Lesnar’s Universal Championship. Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Bray Wyatt, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns will be fighting for the chance to take on Lesnar at WWE Great Balls of Fire. This is taking the Extreme Rules Match up a notch or two and it is sure to provide a lot of excitement.
Alexa Bliss will be defending her Raw Women’s Championship against Bayley in a Kendo Stick on a Pole Match. A promising match ruined by a poor gimmick that never should’ve even existed.
Sheamus and Cesaro are going to step inside a steel cage to try and wrestle the Raw Tag Team Championship away from The Hardy Boyz. This could be a big night for the European wonders.
The final gimmick match will see Austin Aries depend heavily on the Last Chancery to try and defeat Neville in a Submission Match.
The rest of the scheduled card has Dean Ambrose defending the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz in a match where he has already lost his champion’s advantage. Meanwhile, Rich Swann and Sasha Banks team up to take down the couple of Noam Dar and Alicia Fox.
