WWE SummerSlam 2017: Match Card Predictions After Extreme Rules

The SmackDown Women’s Championship will have all eyes on it this summer, as there will be a women’s Money in the Bank Ladder match at the show of the same name. Five women will compete for this opportunity at a future, guaranteed title match, exactly the same as the men’s.

Either way, it seems Naomi isn’t losing her title anytime soon — unless the MITB winner cashes in the same night or at Battleground. She also has no clear-cut candidate to face her now, but someone will likely develop for the July PPV.

For SummerSlam, it’s becoming like WrestleMania, with the multi-person matches and big names filling the lineup. Like we have with Raw, going this direction with SmackDown seems possible. If so, that can give the fans a match of Naomi vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch, something that presents the three top women of the Blue Brand.

Two multi-woman matches seem unlikely, though one of these star-studded bouts taking place looks realistic, especially if WWE is placing all their eggs in one basket on one of the brands. Will fans get this or a Triple Threat for the Raw Women’s Championship?
