Finn Balor vs. Bray Wyatt

On the first night of the WWE Superstar Shakeup, Bray Wyatt graced the Titantron and called out Finn Balor. Wyatt then cost Balor the No. 1 Contenders match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and they haven’t interacted with build toward a feud since. This may have been due to Braun Strowman’s elbow injury.

With Balor and Wyatt not coming out of the Extreme Rules match with the win, they can be steered back toward a match, to take place at Great Balls of Fire. It can be a one-off or something that leads into SummerSlam, finally playing off the tension they had in April and early May.

Balor looked sharp in his first PPV match back from injury, carrying part of the main event of Extreme Rules. His standout performance should give him some momentum on Raw, along with anticipation for his next match.

Wyatt has looked to find his footing since losing the WWE Championship to Randy Orton at WrestleMania 33. This match at Great Balls of Fire could be an opportunity to do that, potentially finding a win to get back into the World championship picture.
