WWE Great Balls of Fire 2017: Predicting the Full Match Card

Cesaro and Sheamus (c) vs. The Hardys

The Hardys had defeated Cesaro and Sheamus with every opportunity given. Prior to Extreme Rules, all of them were by pinfall or submission, but this foreign duo still lingered in the Raw Tag Team Championship picture. It was enough to get to Extreme Rules, as they barely got out of the cage before Matt and Jeff did.

A rematch will likely be in store for The Hardy Boyz, who will be chasing titles for the first time since returning to WWE at WrestleMania 33. Given their history with Cesaro and Sheamus, if it’s a standard match, they should be able to pull off the win. However, would WWE yank the tag titles off new champions that quickly, even as soon as Great Balls of Fire?

This seems like a feud that could go beyond Great Balls of Fire and into SummerSlam, maybe in a multi-team match. The Revival still linger and shouldn’t be forgotten in the title picture, so maybe that will be a way of getting the titles off Cesaro and Sheamus this summer.

Whatever the case may be, these teams aren’t finished with each other yet. Expect another encounter, which turns into either the last match or second-to-last one.
