There is no prop in wrestling like the WWE Money in the Bank briefcase.

At WWE Money in the Bank 2017, the all-powerful briefcase will hang above the ring. Sox men will battle it out to climb the ladder, grab that briefcase and earn a title shot at the time of their choosing.

Of the six men, three have been world champions in the past (AJ Styles, Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler). Shinsuke Nakamura, Sami Zayn and Baron Corbin are all looking for their first reigns. One of them might only be a three-count away from that first reign when this ladder match is over.

That being the case, they will all have their eye the WWE Championship Match between champion Jinder Mahal and challenger Randy Orton. In the history of the Money in the Bank briefcase, only two men (John Cena and Damien Sandow) have cashed in and failed to become world champion. Alternatively, Kane and Dean Ambrose are the only two men to win it and cash in it to become world champion in the same night. The man Ambrose cashed in on, Seth Rollins, is the only man to cash in at WrestleMania.

The briefcase has a fun history. It’s something that WWE has had some fun with and it’s become one of the most anticipated matches of the year. It’s virtually a guaranteed world title reign and everybody knows that.

Which of these six men will come down with the briefcase? Will it be a Superstar looking to return to glory? Or will it be a Superstar still climbing to the mountaintop? Let’s rank the participants in order of who it fits with the most.
