Find out all the fallout from WWE Extreme Rules with this week’s Raw review. The new number one contender was in the house, plus more.

Previously on WWE Raw, Team Red worked its way closer to Extreme Rules. That show was last night. Tonight, we get the fallout from the most recent Raw pay per view.

The biggest development from Extreme Rules was determining a new number one contender for the Universal Championship. When the dust settled, Samoa Joe earned a hard-fought victory in the fatal five-way match. He’s punched his ticket to Suplex City, with a title match against Brock Lesnar due at Great Balls of Fire.

A pair of championships also changed hands at Extreme Rules. In the opening bout, The Miz defeated Dean Ambrose for his seventh reign as Intercontinental Championship. Later on, Cesaro and Sheamus escaped the steel cage moments before the Hardy Boyz, making the European bruisers two-time Raw Tag Team Champions.

With so much more happening at Extreme Rules, there was a lot to get to on Raw this week. And don’t forget everything that wasn’t a part of the pay per view, either. Goldust and R-Truth are still beefing. And Big Cass is still looking for whoever has been assaulting Enzo Amore backstage.
