Follow along with our review of Wednesday night’s episode of WWE NXT.

On Wednesday night, the latest episode of WWE NXT took place from Full Sail University. This featured steady developments in feuds, along with the announcement of NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III.

The NXT Championship picture began developing, as Bobby Roode received interest from one of the show’s rising stars. Who wants in on the main event scene?

Heavy Machinery were in action. They looked to pick up another win, as they still look for an opportunity at The Authors of Pain’s NXT Tag Team Championships.

Plenty went down on this episode of WWE NXT. Let’s break it all down:

Heavy Machinery vs. Lars Sullivan and Victor Andrews

Result: Heavy Machinery defeated Lars Sullivan and Victor Andrews via pinfall.

Rating: 2.0 out of 5 stars

Lars Sullivan is the former Dylan Miley, who’s been attacking his opponents after every match. It’s an odd ring name that doesn’t really represent how big and strong this man is, but we’ll see if he outperforms it.

However, Sullivan represents Heavy Machinery’s biggest test yet, as they’ve mostly faced enhancement talents. He got in a decent amount of offense on Tucker Knight, before tagging in Victor Andrews.

As expected, Andrews got the snot beaten out of him. He took a heavy amount of offense and never even mustered up a punch.

Andrews was taken out with the Compactor, which looked a little clunky. It’s pretty much Knight falling on Otis Dozovic to get the pin.

After the match, as Full Sail expected and chanted for, Sullivan annihilated Andrews. His strength is incredible, but as a performer, he needs to tone down some of the facial expressions that made him look cartoonish. It’s NXT, though, and he hasn’t even crossed five TV matches.
