TakeOver Rematch

A TakeOver: Chicago rematch is announced: Asuka will defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Cross and Riot in a Triple Threat Elimination match, next week.

The Authors of Pain Vignette

We get a creepy vignette of Paul Ellering speaking everyone “accepting the pain,” along with multiple NXT tag teams being featured in graphics.

Peyton Royce vs. Sarah Logan

Result: Peyton Royce defeated Sarah Logan via pinfall.

Rating: 2.0 out of 5 stars

Sarah Logan is the former Crazy Mary Dobson.

Peyton Royce will break out from her alliance with Billie Kay, whenever WWE NXT decides to split them up. Royce has the look and is crisper in the ring. She could be the one to eventually turn, but we’re a long way from that happening.

Logan got some offense in, including a few suplexes and the support of the fans. She has a sharp running-knee, too. However, she mostly got toyed with by Royce.

An easy win for Royce, who may be on her way to a match with Ember Moon — potentially a No. 1 Contenders match. Having this at the next taping is a possiblity.

Recap of Andrade “Cien” Almas’ Loss

Almas lost last week’s match to Cezar Bononi. So cameras get shown of him leaving the venue with three women, only to get contronted by a fourt one, that slapped him.

The more I see this, the more I think it can succeed on the main roster. It almost seems like NXT is developing Almas’ main roster character, so he’s more than just a Luchador, a label that hurt Kalisto.
