Despite being made to appear as inferior to the Hardy Boyz, the duo of Cesaro and Sheamus scored big at Extreme Rules. Becoming the first team to defeat Matt and Jeff since their return, the duo began another reign as Raw Tag Team Champions. Now, the time has come for them to meet inside the squared circle yet again.

Longing to regain the gold, the Hardy Boyz are making use of their rematch clause here tonight. Given how the last two matches have gone down, this contest is likely to be a rather impressive encounter. Surprisingly, there have been no special stipulations announced as of yet. Since this will be the third (and presumably) final entry in their rivalry, one would expect a more satisfying conclusion.

Due to the decision to have no stipulations in place, one of the two following situations may occur. First, the match ends with no clear winner being decided. Whether it be through a disqualification or count-out finish, the rivalry doesn’t receive the proper ending. In this situation, another match would be booked for Great Balls of Fire. One final title match, only this time it’s a ladder match. Here, the two teams can deliver an awesome ending to a fierce rivalry.

The second solution is to have a heel team interfere in the closing moments. Seemingly cleared for an in-ring return, the Revival are the most credible team to make such a move. No other duo on Raw has the star power necessary to give the Hardy Boyz a run for their money. At the end of the day, whichever direction this storyline goes will probably keep fans engaged.
