The Architect Wants a Fight
Angered over his failure to become the new number one contender, Bray Wyatt decided to strike back at those he felt were responsible. Believing that every superstar that competed in the fatal-five-way at Extreme Rules was to blame, he set about gaining his revenge. While he failed to do so with Roman Reigns (shocker), he managed to accomplish his goal in the main event of Raw.
During a match between Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins, Bray Wyatt dimmed the lights towards the closing moments. Fans believed that the Eater of Worlds would appear, but it ended up being a ruse. The distraction allowed Joe to pick-up the victory, and sent a clear message as to who Wyatt wants to fight next.
Although Rollins was incapable of gaining revenge last week, he’s fully recovered heading into tonight’s episode of Raw. He’ll be looking to settle the score, but don’t expect the Eater of Worlds to indulge the request. Instead, Wyatt may opt to deliver one of his trademark promos over the titantron. Revealing why he’s intent on destroying the Architect, he’ll help to breathe some new life into this developing storyline.
These two will meet inside the ring eventually, however, the site will likely be Great Balls of Fire. With Brock Lesnar versus Samoa Joe already announced for the event, this show may go on to boast a very stacked card. This especially holds true when you consider that top talents such as Finn Balor and Roman Reigns have yet to find a storyline for the event. Going forward, Raw might play host to some really exciting storylines.
