1. Challenge for the Universal Championship

When Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman appeared on the Raw after WrestleMania 33, they called out Roman Reigns, as he was the only other Superstar to defeat The Undertaker at the Show of Shows. However, Braun Strowman showed up and thwarted that.

Months later, could Reigns finally declare his desire for the Universal Championship? It would make the most sense, especially with his announcement coming two months in advance of SummerSlam.

Since WrestleMania, Reigns going after the Universal Championship made too much sense. He defeated a legendary star at WWE’s biggest show of the year, something that should have propelled him further, similar to Lesnar in 2014. That didn’t happen, as the former Georgia Tech football player only continued his feud with Strowman and lost a fatal five-way match to face the Beast Incarnate at Great Balls of Fire.

WWE may save Reigns for WrestleMania 33, but how long can he be kept out of the Universal Championship picture? He and Lesnar are on the same show and still have unfinished business from WrestleMania 31, something that would inevitably be addressed, when the time comes, too.
