9. Edge (on Undertaker)
They don’t call Edge The Ultimate Opportunist for no reason.
After capturing the Money in the Bank briefcase from Mr. Kennedy, Edge jumped ship from RAW to SmackDown to take advantage of a beaten down Undertaker.
After enduring a grueling steel cage match with Batista, Undertaker had to endure a hellacious beat down by Mark Henry. Then, unexpectedly, Edge came to SmackDown to capitalize on The Undertaker’s injured state.
Even as The Undertaker was virtually helpless, you can never count the Deadman out. After Edge cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase, The Undertaker kicked out of Edge’s pin.
The bloodied Undertaker tried to sit up but just did not have the power. Edge then hit the stumbling Undertaker with a spear to become the new World Heavyweight Champion.
Even with all of the advantages, Edge has, it’s always remarkable when a Superstar picks up a win against the Undertaker. Additionally, Edge took out the beloved phenom when he was at his worst state, which just built up his profile as an even more hated heel in the business.
Edge knows a thing or two about the Money in the Bank briefcase, so I have a feeling this won’t be the last time that we will see him on this list.
