Jinder Mahal & Randy Orton Finally Get Physical

When Jinder Mahal shocked the WWE landscape with his victory at Backlash, fans were dumbfounded. A short time ago, Mahal was an enhancement talent who didn’t seem to be going anywhere. Fast forward to the present, and he is enjoying his first reign as WWE Champion. The Maharajah has been incredibly protected as of late, a trend which could change this week.

Patiently awaiting his championship rematch at Money in the Bank, Randy Orton hasn’t attempted to strike back at Mahal. Instead, he’s chosen to let his words do the talking for him. That’s all well and good, but this isn’t the Viper we’ve come to love.

What fans want to see is an RKO outta nowhere, and it’s about time they got their wish. Mahal has tasted success after success over the past two or so months, and in doing so has garnered a ton of heat. Due to this, fans want to see him get absolutely destroyed.

Before this Sunday’s event, it’s crucial that Orton attacks his rival. Failure to do so will cause fans to not be as invested in their feud as they ought to be. The WWE Champion doesn’t have to appear weak or beneath the Viper, but fans need something to seek their teeth into. A brawl to close out SmackDown Live is a great way to maximize their match’s appeal, which is only going to help the company in the long-run.
