Would Sonjay Dutt win the X-Division Championship on Impact Wrestling?

In the main event, Sonjay Dutt tries to do what he has never been able to do.  Sonjay Dutt battles Low Ki for the X-Division Championship.  Dutt and Low Ki are X-Division originals but Dutt has never won the championship.  He is also getting what he has called his last chance in his home country as Impact Wrestling broadcasts from Mumbai, India.

Josh Matthews shows that he could possibly still have it in a sparing display for the Impact audience.  He has handpicked his opponent so that he can prove to Jeremy Borash and Joseph Park that he hasn’t lost a step.  As Borash and Park continue to train, it Scott Steiner that lingers over their heads more than Josh Matthews but he will show his athleticism tonight.

The Sony Six Invitational Gauntlet Match starts the show.  Ten competitors battle for the first every Sony Six Invitational Gauntlet trophy.  The entire roster is eligible to compete in the gauntlet but only one can be the first ever winner.  Could a hometown hero take the next step in his career with a win in this match?

Other news from tonight’s Impact Wrestling show.  EC3 now stands for E Singe 3 and he makes sure the fans can understand.  D’Angelo Williams is on his way to an Impact Wrestling ring with his debut coming at Slammiversary.  There is still bad blood between Chris Adonis, Eli Drake, and Moose.  Finally, Rockstar Spud did not mean to pull his pants down but it leads to a skirmish in catering.  This and more on tonight’s Impact Wrestling Review.
