SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
The Usos (c) vs. The New Day

Following the first-ever women’s Money in the Bank match, we’ll likely have to turn our attention to The Usos defending their Smackdown! tag team gold against The New Day.

First off, the fact that The New Day is in this match over Breezango makes no sense to me and per usual, there was no storyline to lead up to this match—just The New Day making a return and getting a shot right off the bat.

The Usos new heel gimmick is solid and pretty much over and The New Day will forever be over in the eyes of the children.

Also, looking at the card, this match is the least important of the one’s remaining.

Sure, that hasn’t stopped the WWE from booking matches in a certain order (for example, Austin Aries and Neville at Extreme Rules being the co-main event), but The New Day coming out will still manage to keep a decent portion of the crowd enthused and there are also those who enjoy The Usos thug gimmick.

It would be great to see Breezango make some kind of an appearance if they’re not on the show at all up until this point following a victory by The Usos, which will also pop the crowd.

While the match doesn’t make any sense to me from a storyline point of view, it’s hard to dispute that The New Day is over with the kids.

A solid second match coming off the first of two Money in the Bank matches to keep the fans from running up the steps from their seats to get a hotdog.
