Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett Debut

A love-themed titantron and music are played. It turned out to be Maria Kanellis and Mike Bennett, who are former ROH and TNA stars.

Maria announced her return to the WWE, and she found a partner, introducing Mike. However, instead of using Bennett, Mike is going under his real-life wife’s last name of Kanellis. They danced on the stage to music and the segment ended.

Well, Mike using his wife’s last name is kind of funny. But, it’s difficult to see how they’ll be taken seriously after this. Unless things change when they enter the ring, this is going to be somewhat interesting and head-scratching.

A midcard role seems likely for Mike, unless he catches fire in this husband role. We’ll see if Maria wrestles, too, since she mostly didn’t in ROH and TNA for the past handful of years.
