WWE Battleground 2017: Predicting the Full Match Card

Baron Corbin vs Shinsuke Nakamura

This is a match that didn’t look like it would happen until Baron Corbin ambushed Shinsuke Nakamura during his entrance, before the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Obviously, with the Money in the Bank contract comes the added pressure of being a main event player. A match with Nakamura, regardless of the outcome, will elevate and establish Corbin as a main eventer for the time being.

Not everybody can become Mr. Money in the Bank, so it is important for Corbin to get off to a good start and have a good to great match with the King of Strong Style. The clash of styles here could make this match even more interesting with Corbin being a brawler while Nakamura using more of a striking and grappling based offense. I think when this match over, both of these WWE Superstars will be in a better position than they were before the match.
