The Hardy Boyz vs. The Club

Result: Hardy Boyz win via Jeff Hardy pinfall

Rating: 0.5 out of 5 stars

During this 15 minute or so affair in the ring, we see more backstage snapshots, but this time of Sheamus and Cesaro as they watched the match on a television in the back which gave provided the notion that they continued to scout the Hardy Boyz before competing later in the evening.

This match also had a commercial smack dab in the middle of it, but prior to it, Anderson and Gallows delivered the “Too Sweet” gimmick to the crowd.

After the break, the match continued and Jeff Hardy hit The Club with his Whisper in the Wind maneuver. However, it was looked clunky because it was clear that The Club was simply waiting for the spot and it did not look authentic.

To end the match, Matt Hardy delivered the Twist of Fate to Luke Gallows which was followed by Jeff’s signature Swanton Bomb.

1-2-3.

The in-ring action wasn’t anything to brag about and the match was like most of the WWE’s matches these days—made up out of the blue with no storyline.

Seeing Sheamus and Cesaro watch in the back was nice considering the lack of backstage looks we’ve gotten historically from the WWE.

This was just another boring match, but at least it tied in the storyline and rivalry between the Hardyz and Cesaro and Sheamus somewhat.

A straightforward wrestling match—something I’m not interested in at all.
