WWE Raw: What Will Lonzo and LaVar Ball Do on the Show?

Both Lonzo and LaVar Ball will be part of Monday’s episode of WWE Raw.

Over the weekend, we noted how LaVar Ball was rumored to appear on Monday’s episode of WWE Raw. This show will emanate from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.

Ball is the father of Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball. LaVar is famous for his outspoken comments in the media about his son, along with his Big Baller Brand. It became known and criticized, for releasing shoes worth nearly $500.

Well, LaVar got confirmed for Monday’s Raw, after Titus O’Neil’s Titus Brand collided with the Big Baller Brand backstage. ESPN’s Arash Markazi then confirmed that Ball will be on the show.

To take it one step further, WWE posted a video with The Miz. He confirmed that both LaVar and Lonzo Ball will be on Raw, appearing in a segment of Miz TV.

"“Ladies and gentlemen, Lonzo Ball and LaVar Ball will be my guests on Miz TV. “LaVar Ball — he’ll have a live mic and it’s going to be awesome.”"

So WWE has gone beyond putting the Ball’s in the crowd or doing a backstage segment; they’re going to give them a microphone in a WWE ring, in front of a potentially raucous Staples Center. They could be cheered since Lonzo will play for the Lakers in the fall. However, given that LaVar will be there, too, he could end up as the biggest heel of the show — and that’s more than Roman Reigns.

Big Baller Brand getting a promotion wouldn’t be surprising, especially since LaVar is in a Big Baller Brand shirt, in the photo with O’Neil. Maybe WWE will sell some of its merchandise at the venue, as part of a potential deal they have in place, with the Ball’s.
