Shoulda Stayed In Your Yard, Big Dawg

You know what, I don’t care what the general consensus is about the never ending Reigns-Strowman feud. This is some of the best television WWE has produced in years. It’s like comfort food – you know exactly what you’re going to get when you tune in for it, so it’s never really surprising. But it just feels so good watching it, man.

To recap, Roman Reigns is still all sassy when he talks. He’s given up on trying to appeal to the fans as a true conquering hero. All he does is clearly lay out his argument that he’s the best, and no one can stop him. He’s smarmy, he’s obnoxious, he’s cocky.

And Reigns accepts the Ambulance Match challenge with the best reasoning possible – “I’ve never been in one… SO I ACCEPT.” It’s absurd, but it works for how he’s being presented right now. The mentality is “I’m literally better than everyone at everything, so it doesn’t matter that I’ve never done it – in fact, I look forward to it!”

Then the sirens fill the arena again, and anyone with half a brain knows that Braun isn’t going to be in the ambulance this week. Well, I guess Roman doesn’t have half a brain, because he falls for the oldest trick in the book. And, boy, does he pay for it.

There wasn’t enough ambulance flipping to make this the best segment these two have ever done, but it’s still awesome. Strowman makes Reigns look like a little baby when he tosses him around the stage and into the ambulance. If ever a feud deserved a “Fight Forever” chant, it’s this one. Just keep this going until it main events WrestleMania.
