SmackDown Live, WWE.com

Once again, a truly historic episode of SmackDown Live awaits the men and women of the Blue Brand. Here is everything you should know heading into tonight’s show:

As a result of James Ellsworth’s interference at Money in the Bank, an unprecedented decision has been made. Moments after stripping Carmella of the MiTB briefcase, SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan made a huge announcement. Here tonight, we’ll have the first-ever televised MiTB ladder match. Which female will walk out of the arena as Ms. Money in the Bank?

Having fully recovered from his latest injury, Zack Ryder is ready to compete inside the squared circle. Continuing his partnership with Mojo Rawley, the duo is going to face the Usos in a non-title match. If they win, they’ll earn themselves a shot at the tag team titles.

Last week, Randy Orton made it clear he still plans on taking the WWE Championship back from Jinder Mahal. The date of their next encounter hasn’t been set, but you can bet it’ll take place sooner rather than later.

Once again, Lana has gained an opportunity to fight Naomi for the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship. She failed to acquire the gold at Money in the Bank, however, she has the chance to rectify that wrong this time around.

Tonight, Baron Corbin will compete against a familiar foe in the form of Sami Zayn. Will Mr. Money in the Bank be able to continue his recent streak of dominance, or will the Underdog from the Underground score the upset?

Following his victory over Chad Gable, United States Champion Kevin Owens appears to be building towards a showdown with AJ Styles. Expect these two to interact at some point during tonight’s show.
