2. Joe Wins the Match But Not the Title

Considering WWE doesn’t have plans to take the title off Lesnar and considering how critical it is that Joe shouldn’t lose, this seems like a logical outcome. Joe could win the match, however, and fail to capture the gold. Creative could play around with this idea and have them work the match in any manner they please.

After teasing such animosity between the champion and the challenger, creative could have them brawl in the stands and among the crowd. This could eventually lead to a count-out finish. While it is true that count-out finishes never leave a sense of satisfaction, the narrative and the build-up to this match could actually help it. However, creative should not try something like having them brawl straight from the beginning and not even have the match started.

Another possibility would be to have the tension between Joe and Lesnar reach such a point that one of them uses a weapon. It could be a chair or a Kendo stick or the timekeeper’s bell. However, the one plot-hole with such an ending would be continuity. If the rumors stated above were to be true, Lesnar Vs Joe is a one-time match and such a finish would not give an ample sense of closure to this match. Hence, we move on to prediction number 3.
