Miz TV

This was one of the hardest editions of Miz TV to focus on. I mean, The Miz is great, of course, but The Miztourage is the most ridiculous thing on WWE TV. More ridiculous than a pair of face painted gargoyles who only listen to grindcore thrash metal stealing Eddie Money tickets. Who dressed these guys tonight? Axel looks like he’s about to take his school picture in front of the laser background. Dallas looks like a biker gang member at a parole hearing. CRAZY.

But what I could hear through the distraction was a vague acknowledgment of the disaster of last week with the Ball family. Then it segued into Miz putting down Dean Ambrose, because we’re still doing that. Out comes Ambrose because what else is he going to do?

Somewhat surprisingly, Ambrose gets interrupted by Heath Slater and Rhyno. The latter has an “I’m With Heath” shirt that has immediately skyrocketed to the top of my wish list. Slater, of course, remembers that he should be getting a shot at the Intercontinental Championship, and he and Dean argue until The Miz goes off on a tangent.

Out comes the GM, because we need some sort of order. Miz agrees to defend the title at Great Balls of Fire and awaits Angle to decide whether he’ll face Ambrose or Slater. Being a GM of the people, Angle gives Ambrose his rematch on Sunday, and Slater a title shot right now. (But Miz isn’t dressed to compete! Surely there will be no shenanigans here…)
