Welcome to the RAW Division Rankings before Great Balls of Fire.
These are the power rankings for each division on Monday Night RAW for this following week. Each division would be ranked based on storyline progression and win/loss record as of 2017. Also, each division would be divided by contenders and pretenders, to differentiate the challengers in their respective division. I’ll also highlight a specific superstar in each division and explain their ranking based on their actions. Win/Loss record is provided by CageMatch.Net.
Each superstar or tag team can move up or down the rankings based on victory, defeat or storyline progression. Let’s see how the rankings shape up this week.

The RAW Cruiserweight Division
Highlights of the Division
The championship feud between Akira Tozawa and Neville has been a blessing in disguise for the Cruiserweight Division. The build-up for the eventual title match has been one of the most entertaining angles so far this year in the WWE. Tozawa has transformed into an unwilling participant in the shenanigans of Titus O’Neil and irating Neville in the process. It’s disappointing that their match will be on the Kick-Off show which means that Neville will predictably retain his championship. A lot of promotion by the likes of Titus O’Neil has added a different level of excitement for this match but it’ll be squandered by the lack of eyeballs which will be viewing this amazing title fight.
The Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher are continuing on their feud from last week which might have some bearings in the rankings. Kendrick will need to pick up some wins to catch Gallagher on the contenders list.
Cedric Alexander has finally broken through as a contender in the division after his subsequent wins the past few weeks. He’s the only contender not to face Neville and he might be the key to dethroning the king. His ridiculous feud with Noam Dar and Alicia Fox must benefit Cedric by adding another layer to his character—desperation. He’s been sick and tired of his former ex-girlfriend and Dar chasing him around and stalling his career. He should add that layer which the fans can grasp on which might propel him up the rankings.
