The first ever edition of the Great Balls of Fire event will be taking place in Dallas, TX and as the saying goes, everything—including this match card—is bigger in Texas. With that said, what order will these matches go in to keep the audience engaged throughout?

Though the name of the event itself may be a cause for some confusion (as well as the logo), the WWE is obviously trying to make the inaugural Great Balls of Fire event a big one with a card that has a total of eight matches. As we’ve seen over the past two event—Money in the Bank and Extreme Rules—the WWE has had some issues in filling up their allotted three-hour time frame for these events.

However, with eight matches on deck and (most likely) so other things such as vignettes, promos, and backstage shots, the WWE will definitely be able to fill the time.

Overall, the card is solid with three of the company’s biggest story lines involved in Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar vs. Samoa Joe, and Enzo Amore vs. Big Cass.

It’s surprising that the WWE didn’t book in a way to have an R-Truth and Goldust matchup on (at least) the kick-off show, but then again, that whole rivalry has been, well, pretty bad so far.

With all of that said, booking this card will be important. The crowd will be into most of these matches, but keeping the crowd entertained from start to finish and preventing them from leaving their seats to get a hot dog during a match is what they’ll strive for.

So: How should the WWE book this card at Great Balls of Fire?
