Welcome to the Smackdown Live Division Rankings for this week.

These are the power rankings for each division on Smackdown Live for this following week. Each division would be ranked based on storyline progression and win/loss record as of 2017. Also, each division would be divided by contenders and pretenders, to differentiate the challengers in their respective division. I’ll also highlight a specific superstar in each division and explain their ranking based on their actions. Win/Loss record is provided by CageMatch.Net.

Each superstar or tag team can move up or down the rankings based on victory, defeat or storyline progression. Let’s get right to the rankings.

The SmackDown Live Women’s Division

Highlights of the Division

Suspending James Ellsworth for a month is probably the best thing to happen to Carmella. She’ll be forced to expand her resourcefulness and intellect to maximize her opportunities to cash in the Money in the Bank. The Princess of Staten Island should hold off the cash-in till Summerslam to make the victory a historical memory. Her interactions with Daniel Bryan are key to delay her potential cash-ins and slowly build-up the perfect moment to pull the trigger. She’s on her way to being one of the cornerstones of Smackdown Live but her progress to that mountain top must be precise with no detour.

Naomi defeated Lana in quick fashion for the second straight week which has added the dominant run Naomi has been on the past few weeks. Her title run the past few months have been rocky but she has never wavered as the defending champion. She’s been presented as the fighting champ and her next title defense at Battleground will be key. Will she head to Summerslam with the championship intact?

Next week on Smackdown should address who should face Naomi for the Women’s Championship at Battleground. The early favorites are either Charlotte or Becky Lynch. Both women have a case on why they should face Naomi. Charlotte has beaten her in the past and hasn’t gotten a fair rematch. Becky hasn’t faced Naomi and that could be a potential dream match. Natalya is a long shot and Tamina is probably out of the picture after her allegiance with Lana. That alliance must transform Lana into a note-worthy challenger the next few weeks, because her quick losses to Naomi has damaged whatever credibility she had before her debut weeks ago.

Let’s see the rankings for the division this week.
