Sasha Banks & Bayley vs. Nia Jax & Alexa Bliss

Result: Sasha Banks & Bayley defeated Nia Jax & Alexa Bliss via pinfall

Rating: 2.5 out of 5 stars

This is a rematch from last week, in which Bayley was injured and Sasha Banks won the match by herself. And after Bliss got herself counted out at Great Balls of Fire, Sasha is not in a good mood – as evidenced by her post-match assault at the pay per view.

So, positive number one: Bayley survived longer than the first commercial break this week! That’s progress, folks. She still ragdolls for Nia better than anyone else on the roster, too.

Positive number two: Nia Jax is adding more moves to her repertoire. It looked like she was going for a Million Dollar Dream on Bayley for a while. It didn’t look particularly good, but it’s something, at least.

Now, the glaring, glaring negative: BAYLEY HAS PINNED THE RAW WOMEN’S CHAMPION!

How many times does this finish have to occur before I’m not screaming about how dumb it is? There wasn’t nearly enough distraction between Sasha and Nia to handicap Alexa and consider it a “distraction rollup” victory. This was the champion being dumb and unable to kick out of a stupid rollup.

Considering everything that’s happened over the past several weeks, Bayley shouldn’t even be in the ring with Alexa. She’s done nothing to warrant any kind of championship opportunity – she’s been beaten quite consistently. But she’s Sasha’s best friend, so here we are.

I really can’t believe I have to continuously say how terrible everything about Bayley is of late. It’s some of the most frustrating stuff on Raw every week.

Shattered Truth, Part Deux

If every pay per view worthy feud gets a match at SummerSlam or the kickoff show, the day will be longer than WrestleMania. Or, we can just end this feud now…
