Gail Kim Makes an Announcement that Will Change the Knockout’s Division

Gail Kim is called out to the ring for her huge announcement by Jeremey Borash.  Kim mentions her injury and how thankful she is for her entire career.  She states that she will be retiring at the end of 2017.  It sucks to see such a pioneer for women’s wrestling have to hang up her boots.  She is truly a wrestler that set the stage for the mainstream women’s revolution.  Kim is intent on going out on top as she came in.  She was the first ever Knockout’s Champion and looks to end her career the way it began.

Chris Adonis calls out the SwoleMates into the ring because he isn’t impressed.  He challenges them to a pose off.  Pope mentioned that Chris Adonis may want to put his shirt back on which is not something that he may have heard before.  Adonis starts to argue with the Swolemates and Eli Drake comes to his aid.  No punches were thrown but this could set up a future encounter between the pairs.

Demus vs Octagoncito

Result: Octagoncito def. Demus via pinfall

Demus tries to use his strength advantage as Octagoncito shows his Lucha Libre style.  Both of these competitors are some of the shortest I’ve ever seen.  Octagoncito uses a corkscrew dive while Demus utilizes a variety of powerslams.  This match showcased the two different styles perfectly.  Demus puts on a powerslam clinic but Octagoncito uses his speed.  Eventually, speed out duels power as Octagoncito defeats Demus.

Joseph Park pushes Grado into the Knockout dating scene but he has no luck.  He even asks Rosemary and Allie which both went two different directions.  Park states that it may be Grado’s last chance and helps him out with chocolates and champagne.
