New Challengers Revealed

Since making the transition from SmackDown Live, Alexa Bliss has been the shining star of the Raw Women’s division. Similar to how Charlotte Flair carried the mantle during her tenure on Monday nights, Bliss is quickly becoming known for her stellar work and polarizing personality. Her recent work (minus the “This is Your Life” segment) has breathed new life into the division. Staples like Sasha Banks and Bayley certainly do their part as well, but like all faces, they need a great heel to work with.

Because of her rapidly rising popularity, Bliss continues to hold the Raw Women’s Championship. Unfortunately for her though, a new series of challengers may come in, which could finally cause her to lose the title. Rather than facing Banks or Bayley in one on one contests, the time has come for her to defend the title in a different environment.

Over the past few months, Bliss has had a big thorn in her side in the form of Nia Jax. The monstrous athlete has laid waste to everything in her path, and has been gearing up for a championship match against Bliss. Although Bliss was able to retain the title once versus Jax due to outside interference, her fate might not be so lucky this time around.

Based upon current developments, if Jax receives a title shot, Banks and Bayley are likely to be inserted as well. As fans, the announcement will be great for us, as these four women could produce a great contest. In Bliss’ case though, this could simply be a sign that a new female superstar is destined to take her throne.
