AJ Styles & Shinsuke Nakamura vs Baron Corbin & Kevin Owens

Result: Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens win via pinfall

Rating: 4.25 out of 5 stars

Exciting fans with another episode of the Fashion Files Breezango continued their search for the person (or party) that destroyed their office. This time around the culprits left a message, contained within a small box. Attached to the head of a small toy horse was the word “Battleground”. Hyping an encounter for this Sunday, Fandango said the mystery will finally end soon.

Now, the time has come to examine our main event of the evening. In just five days time, all four of the men featured in this match will have important matches waiting for them at Battleground. Knowing that a win here tonight would carry significant momentum, both teams put everything they had into the contest.

Hard-hitting from the opening bell, this match was a great way to showcase the talents of all four men. Throughout the contest, Corbin and Owens managed to repel any offensive flurry attempted by their opponents. Nakamura suffered a great deal of damage during his time in the ring, however, he recovered long enough to tag in the Phenomenal One. Digging into his reserves of energy, Styles bounced back and left his opponents reeling. Eager to end the contest, he targeted the legal man, who at the time was the Lone Wolf.

With Corbin stunned due to a Pele kick, Styles tried to end things with the Styles Clash. Unfortunately for him, the Phenomenal One hadn’t seen Owens make a tag. So instead of winning the match for his team, Styles ended up getting pinned thanks to a Pop-Up Powerbomb. On this night, the show closes with Corbin and Owens standing tall over their Battleground opponents.
